called R.C. Sproul "obscurantist" because he believes God created the universe. Memo to conservative Christians: Don't assume that political conservatives share your worldview. They (read: John McCain) might say what we want to hear and make us feel important to get our votes, but at the end of they day they think we're a bunch of gullible fools.

I hope more believers read your post. Typically, we are such fools to buy into the political system the way we tend to do. So much "christian" money is spent on politics that we believe could lead to a legislation of morality. shame on us.
Hey Josh, its Irfan remeber me? Melissa Szydlowski told me about your blog so I thought I would take a look. Hope you dont believe anything crazy or I will have to correct you:)
The other day I was watching the History Channel and this guy was looking at a cross section of rock and how they varied in the layers. He came to this one layer and said that there was a great event in this layer and an enormous number of species were wiped out and not only at this location but world wide! He went on to say that it was a massive series of volcanic eruptions world wide and lava oceans that did it... it angered me so because in the Bible it tells exactly what caused this evidence that this man has here and he will not accept it because than he is forced to accept that there is a God and he is accountable to Him. It is easy to think that because we are "Republicans" or even "Americans" that we are Christian's and that couldn't be further from the truth. We are now citizens of a place that is "not of this world"...
See you soon Josh and take good care of my sister;)
